A friend of mine has a small houseboat on a  local lake.  I was surprised when I got invited to join a small group on the first day on the lake this year.  But the day we had scheduled turned out to be a beautiful warm, breezyy morning.  It was nice and the waves were not terrible but more than normal.  We were all going to show up at 6:30 to fish, sail, and maybe swim for a day of relaxation.  I was really looking forward to a day of relaxation, no stress and being outdoors.  I arrived at 6:30 to greet three girls and three guys who were all ready for a trip.  The day started out with a bright sunrise and beautiful blue skies , as we struck out to do a little boating.  We made a few trips back and forth over the wavy surface of the lake, stopped to fish some a couple times, but the fist weren't cooperating.  As the morning passed, the sun got higher and it  began to get warmer.

I  came to realize that I was actually with three couples, and I was the odd girl out.  That was fine by me as  all I really wanted that day was peace and quiet and some relaxation.  We all sat out on the rear deck, watching the water on the lake, the finally bright sun, and the birds flying in the breeze as Spring really  began to show itself.  Everyone was drinking a little and clothes began to come off, girls down to their bikinis and guys to their swim trunks.  A couple guys jumped into the lake but it didn't take long for them to come to the conclusion that the water was too cold.  We all had lunch and there was lots of giggling and flirting back and forth among the couples and the day got really pretty and warm.

I managed to slip away from the group and found my way to the stair on the side of the cabin that went up to the roof of the houseboat.  I climbed up to the top which was designed as a sundeck, and looked out across the lake, which was pretty empty on a day this early in Spring.  I was in my bikini and had a big towel wrapped around my waist, so I unwrapped the towel and spread it out on the deck.  I stretched out there, just enjoying the sun and breeze.  It felt really good to be so close to naked and outside in the sunshine and feeling the warm breeze over my skin.  I felt a little urge to be naughty, and so I slipped first out of my bikini top, then out of the bottoms too, and sunbathed naked for a while.  First facedown then face up for about 30 minutes, a little turned on by the fact that at any moment someone could come up the stairs and catch me totally naked.  But, fortunately, or unfortunately, that didn't happen and I slid the bikini back on, and eventually wandered back down the main deck where nobody was ever  the wiser.  It turned out to be a great day in the sun, and while I didn't get too sunburned all over my body, my face and the tops of my knees and my arms  did get pretty red.  A day or two of aloe baths and a little aloe gel fixed it all except my face which is peeling some, but not too bad.  And those on the boat will never know what they missed!
